Simran & Jasdeep

Simran insisted the Anand Karaj come first and the party come second — so we began at dawn before the Guru Granth Sahib, the ragis' kirtan filling the darbar as the couple walked the four Laavan. The night before had been pure Punjab: a Jago winding through the haveli, the dhol relentless, the Choora slipped on by her mama ji. Langar for every guest, and not a single thing out of place.
